Wed By The Sea is a one-stop shop beach wedding planning company. We have vendors for all of your needs. We generally do not use outside vendors for our events unless our preferred vendors are otherwise unavailable. We are confident that our vendors are capable of delivering the quality of service your wedding will require.

As much as we wish we were, Wed By The Sea is not capable of controlling the weather. A little rain will not stop us from performing your ceremony on the beach. However, strong winds and lightning make for dangerous conditions and will absolutely delay or postpone a beach wedding. We have the ability to wait out a storm for 30 minutes but anything beyond that will be subject to relocation or rescheduling. We are happy to move your ceremony to a secondary location, provided that access to the beach is not limited. When moving your ceremony to a secondary location, we make no guarantees regarding what decor we will be able to set up, but we will always do our best to make your wedding day perfect for you. If your ceremony is rescheduled, all monies paid will be applied to new ceremony date which of course, is subject to availability.

A credit card authorization and a deposit of 50% of the total package price is required to reserve your wedding day. A second payment equaling half of the remaining balance is required within 21 days of reservation, unless an alternate payment schedule is arranged with your coordinator. The total balance is due 30 days prior to wedding day, unless other arrangements have been made with your coordinator. A complete payment schedule will be provided by your coordinator. Deposits are 100% non-refundable as well as payments made within the last 21 days prior to your wedding day. Cancellations require a 30 day written and verbal notice to receive any monies refunded. Rescheduling requires at least 30 days written and verbal notice and may be subjected to rescheduling fees. Charges will be applied to credit card for items owned by Wed By The Sea that suffer loss or damage due to misuse during the wedding festivities.

Florida law requires a couple to obtain a marriage license prior to their wedding. 3 days prior for Florida residents but if you are from anywhere other than Florida, there is no waiting period. Your coordinator can help guide you through this process.

The staff at Wed By The Sea is 100% committed to excellence in quality of goods, services and products. If what we offer is not a perfect match for the beach wedding you have in mind, we are happy to refer someone who we think might be a better choice for your big day.
